Internships
All CAC services are delivered by unpaid professionals including psychologists, licensed professional counselors, social workers, and therapists-in-training. Internships at CAC not only serve to earn licensure hours but also help serve the needs of the community. Interns at CAC gain experience available in few other venues.

There are always many more clients needing services than there are volunteers to see them. For every therapist that can volunteer at CAC, approximately 6 to 15 clients presently needing services can begin therapy.

We are very selective in the therapists we recruit, and the philosophy of long- term psychotherapy is what we believe in with regard to long-lasting change. If you share that belief, please contact us to discuss internship opportunities with CAC. The depth of experience and the peer relationships you develop here will serve you throughout your career.

What we ask:

  • Minimum caseload of 6 ongoing weekly clients
  • Minimum 6 month commitment
